SOCIALITE VISION CARES

We care for the environment. We demonstrate this through our use of environmentally friendly source products. Take our frame line, ECO® , for example: With ECO®, we bring sustainability and social responsibility full circle – from the materials we use in our frames to the trees we plant that clean the air and enable farmers to support their communities.

ECO bio-based frames are unique because they are made with 63% castor seeds. ECO’s recycled collection is unique because the frames are made with 95% recycled materials.

In addition to ECO®, we carry MODO. Defined by slim silhouettes, innovative materials, and simple constructions, the MODO collection combines design and function for beautiful results. By pushing the limits of optical technology and comfort, we offer unparalleled strength and lasting quality.

In 2016, MODO launched a Buy a Frame – Help a Child See program in collaboration with Seva Foundation. Today they have helped more than 650,000 children in India see by offering free vision screenings, prescription glasses and corrective treatments.

SOCIALITE VISION RECYCLES

At Socialite Vision, we participate in Kick Plastic. Costa launched Kick Plastic to help reduce the amount of single-use plastic finding its way into our waterways, to reduce the amount of plastic we use as a company, and to mobilize a movement.

We also participate in a contact lenses recycling program with TerraCycle. Once collected, the contact lenses and blister packs are cleaned and separated by material type. The materials are recycled into raw formats that manufacturers use to make new products.
