Contact Lens Exams & Evaluation

WITHOUT THE NEED FOR GLASSES

If you wear or want contacts, you need a contact lens exam in addition to a comprehensive eye exam. Our eye doctor will perform special tests during a contact lens exam to evaluate your vision with contacts.

Whatever your reason for wanting contacts is, you will be able to select from our vast collection of lenses. ASK us about receiving up to $300 rebate on annual supply orders.

WHAT HAPPENS IN YOUR CONTACT LENSES EXAM?

At Socialite Vision, our contact lens exam includes all of the steps of a comprehensive eye exam and plus more. We will have a few extra questions about your lifestyle and medical needs. We help you choose the best option based on the anatomy of your eye, your vision correction needs, and your lifestyle.

Following your exam, you’ll be fitted for the correct type of contact lenses. Once the right lenses for your eyes have been selected, we will order your contact lenses on the spot for you. You’ll be sent home with trial contacts which will include your new prescription.

NO WAIT TIME!

* Your contact lenses will arrive in the mail at your home within days. We offer FREE shipping on all contact lens orders anywhere in the US. We offer exchange of un-opened boxes of contact lens bought from us within 12 months if your script changes.

CONTACT LENS CARE

Wearing contact lenses isn't the same as wearing glasses. While you'll love the newfound freedom they offer, contact lenses require special care to help keep your eyes healthy and happy.

  • Never share your contact lenses with others
  • If you rip a contact lens, do not put it on your eye. Never wear a ripped lens.
  • Do not wear expired contact lenses. You can find the expiration date on the box as well as the blister pack.
  • Remove your contact lenses before swimming or using a hot tub.
  • Only use eye drops prescribed by your eye care professional
  • Avoid drying out your contact lenses. Should this happen, discard the lenses and do not use them.
  • Be careful not to put your contact lens in the wrong eye as the lens power may be different in each eye.
  • To prevent your contact lenses from moving off-center or injuring your corneas, do not rub your eyes while wear contact lenses.

OUR CONTACT LENSES

TYPES OF CONTACT LENSES

Scleral Contact Lens

Scleral contacts are large-diameter gas permeable contact lenses specially designed to vault over the entire corneal surface and rest on the “white” of the eye (sclera). In doing so, scleral lenses functionally replace the irregular cornea with a perfectly smooth optical surface to correct vision problems caused by keratoconus and other corneal irregularities.

Also, the space between the cornea and the back surface of a scleral lens acts as a fluid reservoir to provide comfort for people with severe dry eyes who otherwise could not tolerate contact lens wear.

Multifocal Contacts

Multifocal contacts are special lenses that have different powers in different zones of the lens to correct presbyopia as well as nearsightedness or farsightedness (with or without astigmatism).

But researchers and eye doctors are finding that conventional or modified multifocal soft contact lenses also are effective tools for myopia control.

Hybrid Contacts

We prescribe hybrid contacts for patients with a condition called Keratoconus that is hard in the center and soft on the skirt to vault over very high corneal irregularity.

Single-use Daily Lenses

We specialize in Single-use daily lenses that eliminate the need for cases or solutions and provide the most hygienic and eco-friendly solution for contacts.

Altius Contacts

We have lenses for sports called ALTIUS and green and orange tint to help in contrast for sports like Golf, tennis, football, basketball, baseball and more.

ALTIUS® Amber performance soft contact lenses are engineered for dynamic, reactive sports in various outdoor light conditions. As a performance sports contact lenses, they are designed to aid visual performance in athletic settings by enhancing contrast and enabling the wearer to see objects with greater clarity.
