In 2018, Dr. Adam Ramsey was formally recognized by Palm Beach County Vice Mayor Mack Bernard for his outstanding contributions to the community. Dr. Ramsey was honored with the Young Professional Award in recognition of her exceptional dedication to community involvement, leadership, and professional growth. This prestigious award is presented to an individual between the ages of 21 and 40 who actively engages with their community, educates and inspires others, and is committed to building a meaningful and impactful career.

Dr. Ramsey exemplifies all of these qualities. As a trusted optometrist, she has gone beyond providing eye care—she has become a pillar in the community. Through local outreach programs, educational workshops, and partnerships with schools and nonprofits, she has worked tirelessly to promote eye health and overall wellness. Her ability to connect with people, share knowledge, and inspire others has made her a role model among her peers and a valued leader in his field.

​Dr. Adam Ramsey was featured in Vision Monday for his pivotal role as co-founder of Black EyeCare Perspective (BEP), an organization dedicated to increasing Black representation in the eyecare industry. Under his leadership, BEP has launched initiatives like the Black Eye Doctor Locator, connecting communities with Black eyecare professionals, and the 13% Promise, advocating for Black representation in optometry to align with U.S. census demographics. His efforts have fostered collaborations with key industry stakeholders, including the American Optometric Association, to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the profession
